What does CDG Draftworks do?
We provide drafting, consulting, project management services (with scheduling), and training.
We specialize in Division 08 (glass & glazing, doors, windows, storefronts, and curtain walls) and Division 07 (waterproofing, ACM panels, and metal panels).
We act as an extension of your team.
Where do you work?
Nationwide. We are remote-first and support clients across the U.S.
Are you a licensed engineering firm?
CDG Draftworks is not a licensed engineering firm. When a PE stamp is required, we engage vetted structural engineer partners to deliver stamped calculations and drawings. We manage scope, schedule, and submittals from end to end.

How do we start?

What do you deliver?
Clean, build-ready DWG + PDF.
We can match your title block and CAD standards.

How many revisions are included?
Two (2) coordination revisions are included per package. Extra changes are billed hourly or by change order.

What files do you accept?
PDF, DWG/DXF, and plan-room links. Zip folders welcome.
Do you join coordination calls?
Yes. We attend coordination/OAC calls and run virtual pull-planning markups.
Timelines & Capacity
What is the typical turnaround?
Usually 3–10 business days, depending on scope. Rush is available. We confirm the schedule before kickoff.
Can you handle multiple projects at once?
Yes. We scale with dedicated drafters/PM support.
Pricing and Billing
How do you price work?
• Fixed fee for defined scopes.
• Hourly for open-ended tasks.
Do you offer retainers?
Yes. Monthly retainers with priority turnaround and discounted rates.
What are your payment terms?
50% deposit for new clients. Net-30 for approved accounts. We accept ACH and major cards.
Quality and Standards
How do you ensure accuracy?
• Spec + detail check against the latest set.
• Layer and naming standards for clarity.
• Internal QA pass before delivery.
Who owns the drawings?
Upon payment, you own the final deliverables.
We may reuse non-proprietary details unless your contract says otherwise.
Can you follow our CAD standards?
Yes. Share your CTB, layers, fonts, title block, and samples. We’ll match them.
Confidentiality & Compliance
Do you sign NDAs or MSAs?
Yes. We can sign your NDA/MSA or provide ours.
Do you provide on-site work?
We are remote-first. On-site needs can be discussed if necessary.
